“Kill one man and you’re a murderer. Kill millions and you are a great conqueror. Kill all and you are God” (Jean Rostand, “Thoughts of a biologist”).
You’re General, and you’re hiding in an underground bunker. Your task – to destroy the civilian population of the enemy, while protecting their own. Use the combat ships, submarines and bombers to break through defense of the enemy. Create alliances, but remember: the winner could be only one. Apply pre-emptive strikes before it will make your prospective ally. Choose the right moment to betray and destroy enemies with a rain of thermonuclear bombs. If you make one mistake, a devastating counter-attack will put you on your knees!
DEFCON is a really frostbitten strategy. What could be more fun than a worldwide nuclear war, wiping humanity from the face of the Earth? You start small – throw troops in international waters, away from the radar. The players then have the opportunity to use aggressive tactics and conduct non-nuclear war. The conflict is slowly but steadily inflames and culminates with the use of powerful weapons of mass destruction. The countdown to the complete destruction of humanity went!
Inspired by the 1983 movie “War Games”, this game is created so you can all your soul to experience a nuclear war and to admire her reverent fire, erasing from the face of the earth millions of people. How interested in the topic of atomic hysteria the cold war and Fallout and all associated with the nuclear theme, I suggest to play this game under the American classics 40-60-ies (for example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ck0NmJvivP8&list=PLF1877EA3623CD185). Also to feel the atmosphere of the game, I recommend to see the great Stanley Kubrick film “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb”.
